A Letter From Our Founders
Dear SuperNurse Families,
Like many of you, we know the feeling of bringing a newborn home and wondering: am I doing this right? Is this normal? Who do I call?
We are both healthcare providers, trained at SickKids, with more than 20 years of combined experience. We have seen what happens when families have access to expert clinical support, and what happens when they don't.
When we looked for in-home nursing care for our own families, we found what so many parents find: providers marketing themselves as "nurses" without the licensing or oversight to back it up. Doulas can be wonderful, but they are not Registered Nurses. And when a parent hasn't slept in days or a baby's cry doesn't sound right, real clinical training matters.
We noticed a gap. And as nurses, our instinct was to fill it.
We are moms who have lived the exhaustion. We are nurses who have spent careers caring for families at their most vulnerable. We believe the standard of care in your home should be just as high as in the hospital.

Our Clinical Leadership
SuperNurse is not a staffing agency. We are a regulated, clinically-led care practice. Every single element of how we operate, who we hire, how we train, how we support families, is shaped by our clinical backgrounds.
Nurse Practitioner Oversight (NP)
Our Medical Director is an NP from SickKids Emergency — the highest level of advanced practice nursing in pediatric care. She oversees all clinical operations and is available for virtual appointments when families need prescriptions or urgent guidance.
Registered Nurses (RN)
Every SuperNurse is a fully regulated RN — licensed, accountable, and held to the professional standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Not doulas. Not "newborn specialists." Nurses.
Specialized Training
NICU. SickKids. Maternity. Our nurses are not generalists — they are trained in the highest-acuity environments in pediatric and neonatal care in Canada.

All of our registered nurses bring advanced pediatric expertise—many trained at SickKids, Canada’s leading pediatric hospital.
