Our Licensed Nurses provide practical hands-on care, expert guidance, and calm support so you don't have to figure it all out alone. • We focus on newborn, infant, and pediatric care, including:

    • Overnight care and newborn night nursing so you can rest

    • Daytime help and education (feeds, naps, routines, coaching)

    • Witching-hour, evening, and sleep training support

    • Postpartum care, recovery, and physical support

    • Sibling support so older kids feel secure and included

    • Sick care and monitoring at home, within nursing scope

    • Virtual visits for questions, check-ins, and follow-up support for the family

  • All SuperNurse care providers are licensed and insured nurses with years of experience in pediatric and family care. Our team includes nurses who have worked in postpartum units, NICUs, pediatric floors, and community and home care. Every nurse is:

    • Actively licensed and in good standing with their regulatory body

    • Insured for the work they do in your home

    • Experienced in caring for newborns, infants, and children of all ages

    • CPR trained

This means the person caring for your child isn't just “good with kids” they're a trained healthcare professional you can trust.

  • We support children of all ages, from brand-new babies to busy school-aged kids, for both in-home and virtual care. We specialize in newborn and infant care so parents feel supported from the very beginning, but we're here for whatever support you need.

  • Yes. Within nursing scope, our team can:

    • Support breastfeeding technique, positioning, and comfort

    • Help with pumping, paced bottle-feeding, and combo-feeding

    • Offer education on safe sleep and age-appropriate sleep expectations

    • Work with your family's values and goals: no one-size-fits-all plans, and no pressure

  • Every SuperNurse care plan and package includes access to a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Access may include:

    • Reviewing symptoms, patterns, or concerns that go beyond routine care

    • Helping you decide whether to see your family doctor, visit urgent care, or monitor at home

    • Providing education and guidance within scope

NP access does not replace your child's primary healthcare provider or emergency services.

  • Sometimes, yes. We ask that you reach out to your insurance provider first to confirm what your plan covers. We don't bill providers directly, but we can supply receipts and documentation for reimbursement, and Health Spending Accounts (HSA) may be used if your plan allows.

If you need help with forms, we can support you with the information typically required for claims. Book a consultation and we'll walk through it with you.

  • Yes, where medically necessary. After a consultation with our Nurse Practitioner, she can prescribe and refer you on to a specialist when it is clinically appropriate. No other in-home newborn care in the GTA offers this level of clinical back-up.

  • We try to book families in their second trimester. Booking early means you have your plan in place and your nurses arranged well before the birth, rather than sorting it out in the first exhausted week.

  • We work around your family and the hours are modifiable. Most parents choose 10pm to 6am for overnight care, with daytime visits running 4 to 8 hours, but we build the schedule around what your household actually needs.

  • Every family is different. During your consultation we review what support you already have and what you're most worried about, then build a plan that works for you and your family rather than selling you a fixed package.

  • When you plan more than a month in advance, we make sure you have the opportunity for a meet and greet with your nurses before the first shift. For last-minute requests we do our best, though we can't guarantee it.

  • Plans can be cancelled up to two months in advance. For individual shifts we ask for 48 hours' notice. Your shifts can be used any time within a year, so we're available for the newborn stretch, the sleep regressions, and the days they inevitably get sick.

  • SuperNurse is not an emergency service. If your child has trouble breathing, is difficult to wake, has a serious injury, or you are otherwise very concerned, call emergency services (911) or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

Your SuperNurse or NP can help with guidance for non-emergency situations, and with follow-up support after urgent or emergency care.
